Frames

A modern design adding depth to your display. Created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin finish. Each frame is handmade by Guild recognised framers. The frame has a square profile measuring 20mm (front face), 23mm (depth from wall)

Delivered fully strung ready for hanging. Available in either black or white.

Glass

All frames come with float-glass, however larger prints which may be shipped with perspex to minimise risk of damage during transportation. Both float-glass and perspex are made to minimize glare, scratches and light discolouration.

Mount

Also known as passe-partout, or a mat board. This border is a carefully cut window of snow-white coloured, lightly textured, premium card with a thickness of 2.0mm. The cut has a bevelled 45 degree edge.

The end result gives a professional high quality aesthetic. Ideal for giving a standalone image more presence.

The mount distance from the frame edge is 1.5" for the 11"x14", and 2.0" for all other frame sizes.

Mounting consequently changes the aspect ratio of the image within. All image sizes and compositions have been optimised for whether you prefer to use a mount or not.

All mounts are ‘conservation’ grade, FSC certified, 100% acid free, and will not discolour or fade with age.

Lustre Photo Paper

240gsm Lustre Photo Paper is used for all prints.

A premium photographic paper with a satin lustre finish. Preferred by professional photographers, the finish provides a subtle pearl-like texture. Supporting deeper colour saturation than matte papers, this stock produces impressive colour depth and strikingly intense blacks.

All image compositions have been optimised for each of the available sizes. The size listed for each frame refers to the size within the frame, with and without a mount. All sizes are common standards.
